About Drew Staveley - Racecar Driver

Birth Date:  September 20,1985
Weight:  155 lbs
Height:   6’1”
Birth Place:  San Dimas, CA
Residence:  Walnut, Ca

I was born and raised in Southern California and have been involved in motorsports my whole life. The weekends we weren't at the track "club racing" sports cars, we were out in the desert riding dirt bikes and driving dune buggies.

My family has always been involved in racing. When I was 15 years old, I was "discovered" at famed driver Danny McKeever’s Fast Lane Racing School. By the age of 16, I had my professional license and first regional wins in Southern California.

I progressed through the ranks, and joined the SPEED televised Sirius/Playboy/Hankook Mazda MX-5 Cup. Driving a car my father and I built, the MX-5 Cup was the launching pad for my desire to become a professional race car driver. Being requested to join the cast of “Setup” the following year, was a great boost.

I have been very fortunate to have experiences and friendships with famous drivers such as Trans-Am’s Tommy Kendall and Indy Car’s Scott Atchison to help guide my career and receive their advice to start positioning myself as a premier driver of drivers in professional racing.

I consider myself as someone who knows the value of sponsorship and how to promote a sponsor before, during, and after the race. However, first and foremost, I just enjoy driving race cars!
